Aunjanue E. Taylor Aunjanue E. Taylor, an American producer and actor, has been known for her roles in the film Ray Undercover Brother as well as in The Mentalist. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in African-American Studies at Brown University and also a Master of Fine Arts in Acting from the Tisch School for the Art New York University. Aunjanue Ellis is an American actor and producer active in the fields of theater, film and TV. Her career in acting began at the theatre. Later, she was a part of numerous television shows in independent films, mainstream and film. The actress gained prominence for her role as Miranda Shaw on ABC's Quantico. After that, she was able to make appearances on BET's acclaimed television series The Book of Negroes. She started her career acting in 1995 as Ariel as Ariel in The Tempest. Her stage credits comprise Come and Gone Drowning Crow as well as Seeking the Genesis, a Broadway production directed by Joe Turner. When it comes to her film career, her best-known roles include Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express The Help. She is also well-known for her character on ABC's crime drama High Incident.
